My life with David and Darius

Hello! Sorry I haven't wrote for a bit but we've had a sick little boy! Darius has had a virus and ran a high fever for the last week. David and I were so darn tired! I felt so helpless and just wanted to make him all better with the snap of my fingers. Luckily Darius is all better now. We had David's Birthday to celebrate as well. We had a good time together and I think he had a fun time too. I made mini pizzas for his birthday dinner and we got to spend a little one on one time together which we both needed. Darius had fun playing in daddy's big bag from his present and we just had to take a picture of him in it! I just love this picture too. Well that's it for now, love to you all :)

Hello! It has been a busy time so I haven't blogged until now. Dave and I and Darius have decided what to do for our Halloween costumes. Darius will be the cow that jumped over the moon, I am the dish that ran away with the spoon, and dave is the spoon of course. We wanted something that we could all three get to be together. Darius got new pj's this week and a hat for winter because it has been COLD! He is still teething so he's been unhappy tonight. :( Darius is now finding ways to get into almost everything in the house too. I have a feeling that I will be in GOOD shape when he starts walking from running after him. David is studying for his certification at work and is doing well. The test is next week. He is so smart and we just know that he'll pass with flying colors. Well that's all for now. Until next time, goodbye. :)

Today I wanted to dedicate my blog entry to all those wonderful Grandparents who do so much for our family. Thanks to every one of you special people who fill mine, Dave and Darius's lives with unlimited bliss and happy memories. No one could ever take your place! We love you all so much! The picture above is Darius expressing his feelings for you guys. We hope your day is VERY special. Well that's it for today, until next time goodbye. :)

Hello. :) Today Darius fed himself for the first time! We're so excited that he's learned what most two year olds can't do yet. Isn't his picture cute? It's him eating bannanas earlier today. He also learned how to clap today! He's learning so fast. I am so happy and yet sad too that he's no longer my newborn baby. At this rate it won't take long before he'll be going off to college! :( He ran a fever again today :( Well that's it for now goodnight.

Hello again. Today we took Darius to his six month checkup with his Pediatrician. He now weighs 20 Ibs. 7 oz. and is 28 inches long. Darius had his immunizations as well and hasn't been feeling very well since. The doctor told us to expect his two teeth to come in all the way within the next week. We are very excited for Darius getting his first set of teeth! I start a program with friends monday called Feeling Great In Eight, the program is really a fun idea to lose weight with friends and have fun too. It goes for eight weeks so wish me luck! David went to class tonight and did very well on his tests. I am very proud of how hard David has worked in school, he always does his very best. Darius ran a fever tonight and will probably be up a lot tonight. Hopefully he'll feel better soon. I wish that things weren't so rough for him as a baby. Well that's all for now, goodnight to everyone.

My name is Becca and I reside in Idaho Falls, Idaho with my wonderful husband David and our adorable six month baby boy, Darius. I've wanted to start a blog for a while now to record special events and memories. I thought that today would be as good of time as any to start, so here I am. I am a stay at home mother and I just love it. There's nowhere else I'd rather be than getting to raise my little boy. Darius was born on March 2nd, 2006. David and I were so happy to get to become parents this year and each day grows more and more special for us. I am 23 years old and Dave turns 29 this month. Dave is a full time college student at ISU and works full time too. I honestly don't know how he does it, but I'm truly greatful for him. Dave and I came to the decision when I became pregnant with Darius that I stay at home and raise him, so here I am having the time of my life as a mother! Well that's all for now, I'll pick up where I was later on.
